While starting a money making blog may not be the easiest thing to do, it won’t be the hardest thing you’ve ever done either!
Just starting out on your Internet Marketing career? I would suggest you set-up your very own Blogger blog, why? Because they are free (always good) and are very easy to add content and monetize.
The best way to get to blogging is with your own hosted blog from Wordpress.org. The feeling is these hosted blogs get “more respect” so to speak from the search engines, and I feel there is some truth to this. If you don’t want to part with about $10.00 a month for hosting (cheap!) than a Blogger blog where it’s at.
Whether you are using a hosted blog or a free one you should choose a niche that you know something about. Why? Because if you are “into” whatever you’re going to blog about (your niche) you will find writing content much faster and easier. The trick to easy content creation is knowing your subject well!
From the start you should be figuring out just what you can sell you future visitors to your blog. Get into your their heads-what do they want and/or need? You job as an Internet Marketer is to supply exactly what it is that they want or need, and turn your little niche blog into a money sucking machine!
Want to work from home, and earn extra money with a blog? Well you can go about this in many different ways, but I think the best way is to run a successful blog. You build your brand, credibility, online presents, and you gotta write a lot (better get used to it!)
If you choose a niche you are passionate about some of your readers will share your passion and become part of your community of like minded individuals. Work within this community, build relationships, cause in the end that’s what making money online is all about (to my way of thinking anyways) building relationships, and working with people.
Try to enjoy your time online, don’t get obsessive about it, just keep plugging away at it and in time success will come. Think about starting several blogs in different niches, so all your eggs are not in one basket. Who knows this could very well be the start of something big!
